CONNECTING OPPORTUNITIES
Band of Brothers (Men's Group)
Band of Brothers is the Men's Ministry of The Journey. This
is a place where men gather to learn and grow to be the men
God has called them to be in their homes, work places, and
community. Band of Brothers will challenge one another to
become great husbands, fathers, businessmen, and spiritual
leaders of their families and the church.
Come early on Wednesday mornings. We will provide the coffee!
You can leave as you need to get to work on time.
Women's Bible Study
Women's Bible Study is one of many ministries of The Journey.
Call us at 610-344-9332 to get more information about this
and other ministries.
Journey Express (Children's Ministry)
Journey Express is the Children's Ministry of The Journey.
We have nursery through the entire service.
Preschool classes for ages birth through 5 years old and
our Kindergarden through 5th Grade attend the Worship Service
during the singing and are dismissed during the service for
their class.
CrossSeekers (West Chester University Collegiate
Ministry)
CrossSeekers is a collegiate ministry on the campus of West
Chester University that is partially sponsored by The Journey.
CrossSeekers meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 on campus.
It is a place for students to explore faith and how to live
it out in their daily campus lives. For more information call
the church office and speak to Brodie Smith.
Serving Opportunities
Are you looking for a place to get involved and participate
in the ministry of The Journey? There is a place for everyone,
and we want to help you find the place God has for you to
use your gifts and abilities. Below are some areas where you
can get involve. Mark your Information Card if you want more
information about any particular ministry.
- Journey Express – this is the Children’s Ministry of
The Journey. You can serve as a volunteer or teacher on
a rotating basis with any age group birth through 5th Grade.
- Greeter Ministry/Journey Café – help people feel
welcome with a smile. You can work at the many different
areas to make people feel comfortable and find their way
around.
- Sound/Video – help run sound and/or Powerpoint on Sunday
mornings. Training is available in both these areas for
anyone who hasn’t done these before but has an interest.
- Small Groups – we are looking for people willing to host
a small group in their homes for Bible study, community,
and a fun time. These groups can meet either weekly or every
other week.
- Hospitality Ministry – several of you have already provided
meals for those in need in our church family. We are now
creating an actual team to meet these needs. If you are
willing to be on that team or serve as team leader, there
is a place for you.
