Baptism is more than just a bath. It serves as an illustration to each believer-and to the church as a whole-of the inward change brought during salvation in Christ alone. Have you been baptized or did you just take a bath?

I did not write this. The author of the song Death In His Grave, John Mark McMillan, posted this on his blog and I thought I would share it with you all. I am (and obviously he is) aware that this song has some people asking some questions. So I hope you take the time to read this and enjoy this worship song that celebrates Jesus' victory!

One of our purposes as a church is to Experience Community. One of the new ways that we want to do that is through a new addition to our website called The City. The City is a place for our church family to connect and build relationships, get to know others in our church family, and find out what is going on at The Journey.

What a simple phrase... "we wish to see Jesus", but is that the way we live our lives? Do we make that a priority? Do we take time to see Jesus on a regular basis?
